Newcastle sit in the relegation zone after a dismal start under Steve Bruce, while they could in fact close the gap on Manchester United, who are suffering their worst start for 30 years, to just a point with a win.
It’s safe to say it’s not going to be a thriller, given the football that’s played so far this season, but Manchester United have the clear edge at 17/20 with Coral.
The key battle will undoubtedly come from the midfield and how well Manchester United can get a grip on the game. United target Sean Longstaff will provide the opposition to try and halt any creativity and successfully do so we could be looking at a game with 0-0 written all over it.
That’s priced at 8/1 with William Hill, while the Manchester United 1-0 isn’t bad value at 5/1, although clean sheets have been hard to come by for the Red Devil’s.
Manchester United are far from a side that are consistent and full of confidence at the moment, but on and off the field the Magpies are in disarray. We fancy Solskjaer’s men to take this one by a goal in what’ll likely be one of the worst Super Sunday’s of the season.
