It may only be the start of November but Manchester City travel to Anfield on Sunday in what could well be a title decider.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are six points clear at the top of the Premier League, but William Hill are pricing their rivals as favourites at 6/4.

Liverpool are priced at 17/10 with William Hill with the draw priced at 13/5 at Ladbrokes, which could be worth a punt.

The Reds have found ways to win though and in big games at Anfield, they usually step up to the plate and come up trumps.

The game finished 0-0 last season, with City taking the spoils at the Etihad and we expect another close encounter. The pressure is on Pep Guardiola to keep his side in the title race, but can he do it?

Key Battle to Look Out For

The key battles will definitely be in attack versus defence. Liverpool certainly have the stronger back line, with City nursing injuries.

That could mean Liverpool take advantage with Fernandinho having to deal with the likes of Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino. Mane to score anytime at 6/4 with Paddy Power offers a bit of value, while the Senegal star to bag and Liverpool to win at 16/5 is also a worthwhile punt.

It’s a game that could go either way. In Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero, Manchester City have players that can be unstoppable. If they turn up, Anfield could be silenced.

On the other hand, Liverpool’s attacking talent could prove too much for a makeshift defensive line. We’d expect both teams to score in this one, with Liverpool priced at 17/5 in the To Win & BTTS market, with Manchester City at 14/5. You really could take your pick with this one!
