Australian Open 2020 Betting Odds Day 5
Osaka to beat Gauff 2-1 at 11/4 with Paddy Power
- Goffin to beat Rublev at 6/4 with Ladbrokes
Federer, Djokovic & Williams the Ones to Watch on Day 5
Friday is a big day at Melbourne Park with Federer, Djokovic and Serena Williams in action, alongside a host of intriguing ties.
Naomi Osaka faces a tough task against young Coco Gauff, while Cilic v Bautista-Agut could be one of the games of the day.
Naomi Osaka v Coco Gauff Betting Odds
Once again Gauff is making headlines but it will take an awful lot to get past third seed Osaka.
Osaka is 1/6 to win the match with Coral, with Gauff perhaps worth a free bet at 7/2 with the same bookie.
The 2-0 Osaka is 8/15 with Ladbrokes, but we would certainly fancy Gauff to come out strong and the 2-1 Osaka victory could prove good value at 11-4.
David Goffin v Andrew Rublev Betting Odds
Goffin v Rublev provides one of the closest encounters of the day with Rublev just about favorite at 1/2 with Coral while Goffin is 6/4 with Ladbrokes.
Goffin 3-1 at 11/2 with William Hill looks a nice punt after seeing off Herbert in the last round but it’s certainly a match that could go either way.
Ons Jabeur v Caroline Wozniacki Betting Odds
Wozniacki is going strongly so far and is 4/11 favourite with Paddy Power to continue her progress.
Jabeur is priced at 15/8 with Coral but with the grit between her teeth, it’ll be too much. We fancy 2-1 Wozniacki priced at 13/5 with Paddy Power, although 2-0 may be safer at 10/11 with the same bookmark.
