Arsenal v Newcastle Betting Tips
It’s not often Arsenal against Newcastle is described as a mid-table clash but that’s exactly what it is with both sides on 31 points.
Mikel Arteta is improving the Gunners but results are moving slowly with four straight draws in the league.
They’re favorites for Sunday’s 4.30 pm kick off with Coral pricing them at 4/9. It might not be that simple though, with the Magpies priced at 13/2 and the draw 7/2.
Key Battle: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang v Jamaal Lascelles
Aubameyang is, of course, the man to watch for the home side and is 23/10 to get the first goal of the game with William Hill.
It will be up to the impressive Lascelles to marshall the defense and keep him and Alexandre Lacazette at bay, who is worth a punt at 11/10 anytime scorer.
Joelinton will be Steve Bruce’s main threat and he’s priced at 16/5 anytime, well worth a punt.
Our Tip: It’ll be a tight one with Arsenal just edging it
Arteta will have enjoyed having a winter break to work on his Arsenal side and we fancy them just to edge this one. A win and BTTS with William Hill at 9/5 would be our punt, although given the recent form of both sides a score draw at 9/2 wouldn’t be a surprise either.
