Premier League Darts – Wednesday’s 11/1 Acca

0

We’re back at the oche on Wednesday, as the 2021 Premier League darts continues to roll on inside the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes.

We waved goodbye to 2020 winner Glen Durrant and 2018 world champion Rob Cross a fortnight ago, and with the field now down to eight it’s a race for those all-important playoff spots on May 28.

There’s just four matches to be contested each night now as the first of this week’s three evenings gets underway on Wednesday.

We’ve dissected each match over here at Odds Manager HQ and have come up with a tasty 11/1 acca.

Dimitri van den Bergh or draw v Michael van Gerwen – 8/11

Dancing Dimitri is playing some of the best darts in the world at the moment.

The Belgian is unbeaten since night five of the Premier League, going unbeaten in eight of his nine matches during his debut season.

Michael van Gerwen only has two wins to his name over his last six and is still struggling to hit his previous heights without crowds in attendance.

This could well go all the way, but we are backing van den Bergh to come away with at least something.

Jose de Sousa to beat Gary Anderson – 10/11

De Sousa has turned plenty of heads during his debut year in the Premier League.

The Special One has crashed home 50 180s in just nine matches, with his doubling the only reason he’s not closer to the top of the table.

Anderson has been blowing hot and cold and we can see the Portuguese derailing the Flying Scotsman.

10/11 is quite short, but with a tournament checkout percentage of 37.83%, De Sousa will get chances against Anderson.

Nathan Aspinall 3-1 Peter Wright after four legs – 13/5

Aspinall is playing good, aggressive darts and sits at the top of the tree having only lost one match back in week two.

Wright only has three wins to his name all season in the Premier League, and like Michael van Gerwen, seems to be struggling without fans.

Aspinall is often fast out of the traps and could get Snakebite on the back foot early.

We are plumping got an early break for the “Asp” with a 3-1 lead after four legs.
