Premier League Darts Night 4 Betting Tips
The league opened up on Night 3, with a stunning performance from Nathan Aspinall to beat Michael van Gerwin. Glen Durrant now has a top spot and we’re in for another bumper week as the Premier League rolls into Dublin.
Peter Wright needs to continue to get back to winning ways against Gerwyn Price and van Gerwin takes on Ireland’s William O’Conner which will make for a lively atmosphere.
Glen Durrant v Nathan Aspinall Betting Tips
After three weeks Glen Durrant sits top of the pile but faces a difficult challenge in Nathan Aspinall, who defeated MvG last week.
Aspinall goes in as favorite at 5/4 with Coral, as Durrant talks down his chance of success in his debut Premier League season.
He could be worth a punt though at 8/5, with the draw also an appealing prospect at 3/1.
Durrant impressed against Gary Anderson last week too and we’d be looking at 7-5 win for Duzza at 17/2.
Gerwyn Price v Peter Wright Betting Tips
Gerwyn Price will be flying high after defeating van Gerwin to the 2020 Players Championship just days ago. But will that improve his darts or harm them on Thursday as he takes on Peter Wright?
Wright goes in as favorite at 13/10 with Paddy Power and we’d fancy him as he starts to find his form in the Premier League.
His win last week puts him back on course in the title race, although Price is indeed priced fairly closely at 8/5.
Wright averaged over 101 last week and we’d fancy him to take a 7-4 win at 8/1 with the brand.
If Price can continue in the same vein of form as the Players Championship, however, he’d be well worth a free bet and we’d look to the 7-5 victory at 17/2 or the draw at 11/4. We can see Wright getting on top in Dublin though.
