Premier League Darts Matchday 3 Betting Tips
We’ve had an exciting start to the Premier League with van Gerwin enjoying a 100% record and Fallon Sherock taking a 6-6 draw with Glen Durrant in her first game last week in Nottingham.
The PDC league arrives in Cardiff on February 20 and once again there’s plenty to bet on as van Gerwin meets Nathan Aspinall and a tasty tie between Gary Anderson and Durrant.
Glen Durrant v Gary Anderson Betting Tips
Both Durrant and Anderson have a win and a draw apiece so far in the Premier League, but we fancy Anderson to take this one.
A 7-3 win would be our bet at 13/2 with Paddy Power, particularly with the Scot taking an excellent draw with Peter Wright last week.
A -1.5 leg handicap could be a safer bet to place at 11/10 and certainly, one for the accumulator alongside a van Gerwin, Peter Wright, and Gerwyn Price to win selection, which can be backed at 9.48/1 with the bookie.
Away from an accumulator and Anderson to hit the most 180s and win the match at 21/10 would be our bet of the match.
Peter Wright v Rob Cross Betting Tips
Wright against Cross could be a close contest and the latter will want to remain unbeaten and within touching distance of van Gerwin at the top of the table.
Wright is favorite to take the win at 10/11 with Coral. We’d look towards the Wright to win and hit the highest checkout at 11/5 given his recent form, while in the correct score market we’d look towards 7-4 at 9/2.
Cross has been playing well though and many will be looking at the draw. It’s reasonably priced at 10/3 and in the Race, to Three legs market he’s at 11/8 which could be a market worth considering.
In Cardiff we expect Peter Wright to have too much though and over the next few weeks get back towards the top of the table after an opening night defeat to van Gerwin.
