Odds Manager’s Weekend Football Preview

It’s that time of year again… crazy costumes, horrendous sights, and dodgy decorations – but enough about Strictly Come Dancing, it’s also Halloween weekend!

Read on for our lowdown of all the top Halloween weekend football action – it’s going to be spooktacular…maybe!

Premier League

Kicking off the weekend, Wolves entertain Crystal Palace on Friday evening and you can check out our top Odds Picks for the match here.

Saturday sees three matches with Manchester City again featuring in the lunchtime game, this time against Sheffield United.

City were the early kick-off coupon busters last weekend and look short enough in the betting at 33/100 with Unibet.

Liverpool face West Ham in the evening match and with both sides in hot form, this is one not to miss.

Liverpool are a top-priced 2/5 at Betfred while the Hammers will have plenty backers at 15/2 with 888sport.

Sunday sees the potential match of the weekend, as Manchester United take on Arsenal so, of course… that’ll end up 0-0, which is 12/1 at Betfair.

Leeds take on Leicester on Monday evening and with little to separate the sides on paper, the draw is bound to be popular at 13/5 with Unibet.

Scottish Premiership

We get delayed Scottish Cup semi-finals this weekend so there’s only three matches in the Scottish Premiership, but league leaders Rangers are in action as they travel to Kilmarnock on Sunday.

The only side still undefeated in the top UK leagues this season, Steven Gerrard’s side are bound to be a popular Acca selection, available at 1/4 with bet365.

Talking of Accas, PSG will also no doubt find themselves in plenty and they’re a top-priced 4/11 with Paddy Power for their match against Nantes.

In La Liga, an under pressure Zinedine Zidane and his Madrid side welcome Huesca on Saturday while Barcelona face a tricky trip to Alaves.

Alaves have won two out of their last three and could be a popular bet to cause a cheeky upset at 11/2 with bet365.

Match of the weekend in Italy sees 2nd play 3rd as Napoli take on Sassuolo on Sunday evening.

Like Alaves, Sassuolo are in good form and are undefeated in their last five matches – at 9/2 with bet365, they’ll also be another looking to cause an upset.
