Odds Manager’s Odds Picks of the Day – Thursday

Everyone likes play-off football right!?

Fans of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland might not after Thursday night, as they look to secure their place at next summer’s delayed Euro 2020.

It’s semi-final time, with all three teams just two victories away from sealing a Euro’s spot, or one loss away from booking two weeks in Dubai come next June.

Read on to check out our top Odds Picks for Thursday’s matches.

Scotland v Israel – Scotland to Win & Both Teams to Score – 9/2 at bet365

These two must be sick of the sight of each other, with this the fourth time they’ve met in under two years.

They shared the spoils in a 1-1 Nations League draw last month, the third time on the spin that both teams have found the back of the net against each other.

We expect goals again at either end on Thursday but can see Steve Clarke’s men edging the match…just.

Slovakia v Republic of Ireland – The Draw – 21/10 at bet365

The Republic have larked a spark since Stephen Kenny took over, and we can’t see them producing any fireworks in Slovakia.

Ireland tend to shut up shop on the road, and it’s likely to be similar here, especially with so much on the line.

Our verdict – a dull draw followed by squeaky bum time for the Irish fans with extra-time and perhaps even the dreaded penalties.

Bosnia & Herzegovina v Northern Ireland – Bosnia & Herzegovina to Win & Both Teams to Score – 4/1 at Betfair

It’s going to be tough for Northern Ireland, facing a Bosnia side that has only lost three times at home since 2014, and contains the likes of Kolasinac, Pjanic and Djeko.

Northern Ireland do tend to bag at least one goal, even on their travels, so we’re expecting the classier Bosnians to win the match, but both teams to score.
