It’s a tasty Saturday of sporting action with plenty to enjoy whether you’re down the pub or lazing about the house.
We’ve studied the form for you and come up with our top three Odds Picks for Saturday’s sport – ideal for a cheeky afternoon acca!
The Dewhurst Stakes – Thunder Moon – 11/4 at 888sport
It’s the battle of the two-year-olds at Newmarket with the Group 1 Dewhurst attracting 14 runners, seven of whom won last time out.
In a red-hot renewal, we’re siding with the Joseph O’Brien trained Thunder Moon, who’s the current favourite for next year’s 2000 Guineas.
He blew them away in the National Stakes at the Curragh last time out despite being stuck in a pocket – a repeat of that run here should be enough to see off his rivals.
Spain v Switzerland – Spain to Win to Nil – 6/5 at bet365
It’s an absolute international football frenzy at the moment and the party continues on Saturday with the Nations League taking centre-stage once more.
Spain welcome Switzerland to the Bernabeu, and the bookies clearly expect the Swiss defence to have more holes in it than a slice of Emmental, with Spain 2/5 to win the match.
We’re expecting nothing but a Spain victory, but having conceded just one goal in their last seven home matches, we can see plenty value in backing them to win to nil.
Exeter Chiefs v Bath – Bath (+10 points) – 20/21 at Betfred
The Chiefs are hunting down domestic and European glory and Saturday sees them face a tasty Premiership semi-final against Bath.
Exeter have looked impressive all season and are rightly short-priced favourites here but Bath have stepped it up on the road this season when asked.
We expect an Exeter victory but Bath to push them all the way, and they’re our choice on the handicap market.
