India v England – Jimmy Anderson Looks Pretty In Pink

After two fairly one-sided Tests in Chennai, the India v England series moves to Ahmedabad for a tantalising day/night Test under the lights.

It’s 1-1 between the two sides with the series balanced on a knife edge and the addition of the pink ball this week throws a fluorescent spanner in the works.

Different questions will be asked of Virat Kohli and Joe Root’s captaincy this week, but who will come out on top and stamp their authority on this series?

This Test feels pretty unmissable, and with 9am UK starts each day you’ve got no excuse not to join us at Odds Manager HQ tracking every single delivery.

With dew in the air and a swinging pink ball a devilish feature of a twilight Test, England’s formidable bowler Jimmy Anderson will be licking his lips on Wednesday.

The Benjamin Button of the group was allowed a rest in the second Test, but will be fit and firing again in Ahmedabad looking to lead England’s varied bowling attack.

Anderson is the unrivalled king of swing, and the conditions could well be perfect for the 38-year-old to shine again.

Our Long Shot – Virat Kohli Player Of The Match – 13/2 with bet365

India’s captain Virat Kohli has had a mixed time with the bat so far in this Test series.

He scored 11, 72, 0 and 62 in Chennai, and hasn’t scored a Test century since a 136 against Bangladesh in 2019.

Kohli has recently stated his desire to follow in the footsteps of Novak Djokovic and produce some of his best cricket in his “golden years”, and we think the stage is set for a heroic performance from the 32-year-old.

Even if England enjoy patches of success in this third Test, we are expecting the cream of Kohli to rise to the top with the bat.
