It’s all aboard the Thomas Tuchel Train in south-west London, as Chelsea chug towards two unlikely cup finals and a place in the top four.
The latter isn’t yet confirmed, despite the German getting another one over Pep Guardiola during last Saturday’s football nerd-off.
Three points at home to their London rivals would be a huge step towards another season in the Champions League, as Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are still left licking their wounds after a forgettable season of failed transition.
But Chelsea v Arsenal can’t ever be played on paper. There’ll be added spice in the air above Stamford Bridge on Wednesday as these two slug it out for pride in the capital.

Our Top Odds Pick – Chelsea to win and under 3.5 goals – 5/4 with bet365
Since joining the Blues, 16 of Tuchel’s 17 wins have come with under 3.5 goals.
Their 4-1 away win at Crystal Palace is the only outlier to this stat, and we think that having suffered defeat to Arsenal earlier on in the season, motivation will be high in the Chelsea camp for revenge.
Chelsea are unbeaten at home to Arsenal in the last ten years, with a Robin van Persie hat-trick signalling their last success in 2011 via a 5-3 thriller.
The Blues have lost only to West Brom and Porto (in a game they won on aggregate) since Tuchel arrived in London, and a loss to an out-of-sorts Arsenal side doesn’t look likely on Wednesday.
Our Long Shot – Callum Hudson-Odoi to score anytime – 4/1 with 888sport
Callum Hudson-Odoi is becoming far too used to cameos off the bench in recent weeks.
The exciting winger is clearly a favourite with Tuchel and after a positive display against Manchester City at the weekend, we think the 20-year-old will get the nod on Wednesday.
He’s got five goals and five assists to his name this season, but with a couple of cup finals on the horizon Hudson-Odoi will be looking to impress inside Stamford Bridge.
With Arsenal keeping just two clean sheets in their last 16 Premier League matches, we’re banking on Hudson-Odoi to cause even more problems for the vulnerable Gunners.
