- Kyrios to beat Simon 3-0 at 11/10 with Coral
- Elise Mertens to beat Heather Watson 2-1 at 5/2 with Paddy Power
Kyrgios, Nadal & Wawrinka the Ones to Watch on Day 4
Thursday welcomes a number of big names back to Melbourne Park with Rafael Nadal, Stan Wawrinka and Dominic Thiem all in action and battling for the title.
Heather Watson returns too after a win on Day 3 and there are plenty of good value odds to get your hands on too!
Nick Kyrgios v Gilles Simon Betting Odds
The entire population of Australia is behind Kyrgios and he’s once again big favourite at 1/5 with Coral to ease past Simon.
He’s priced at 11/10 with Ladbrokes to win in straight sets and after his First Round tie it’s a punt we’d certainly fancy taking.
Simon holds little chance at 17/5 with William Hill although you may fancy Coral’s special on Simon to break first serve at 15/8.
Elise Mertens v Heather Watson
British No.2 Heather Watson came from behind in Round 1 to beat Pliskova but faces a much tougher task in 16th seed Mertens, who is favourite with Paddy Power at 1/4 and has been impressive so far.
Watson is 11/4 with Coral and we expect plenty of fight from her, although this may be a step too far for her. We’d expect her to take a set but Mertens 2-1 at 5/2 with Paddy Power looks a good value bet.
Taylor Fritz v Kevin Anderson Betting Odds
Perhaps the match of the day is Fritz v Anderson in what could be a really close encounter. Anderson is just about favourite at 10/11, with Paddy Power pricing Fritz as EVS.
Anderson has the more quality but we can see this going to the wire given he had to come from behind in the First Round. We’d back the South African to come through 3-2 at 19/4 with Coral.
